THIS GAME IS NOT AT ALL NEAR COMPLETE!!!

Major parts of the game haven't been made, as i simply don't have enough time, and i don't plan on finishing/completing the game.

This means that there aren't any tutorial other than the "How to play" below,  Reaserch Points dont do anything, and more...

I really didn't expect to gain as much traction as it did.

How to play:

The goal of the game is to make it to an antenna on the right side of the world. When you get there you need to go back to complete the mission.

The vehicle moves by placing the collectables on the marked spots.

Stats about the vehicle can be seen on the UI at the bottom.

Controls: 

Player 1: WAD for movement and F for interactions/picking objects up

Player 2: Arrows for movement and M for interactions/picking objects up

Bugs:

There is a lot of known bugs and glitches in the game, like weird pixel perfect snappin and wonky collision and more. Which simply dident have the time to fix (see "About").

About:

This game was made for VimJam 2020, which was a week long game jam. But i only used about 2-3 days worth of time, beacuse of some unexpected IRL stuff which came in the way.

Story:

You play as 1 (or 2) astronauts which has been stranded on an unknown planet, and need to collect parts for there vehicle which they lost in the crash which stranded them on the planet. The crash was caused by a collision with a spaceship filled with Monkeys and Guns. 

The story was supposed to be incorperated in the game with a small intro/slideshow, but i had to cut it because i did not have enough time.

Sprites: 

Background is a colormodified version of Trixie's  stringstar fields background. (https://trixelized.itch.io/starstring-fields)

The metal tiles is heavely inspired by 0x72's 16x16 Robot Tileset.

The rest of the sprites is made by me during the jam in Photoshop with colors from lospec.

noice sprites, just in the tutorial say what each block does bc the only ones that make sense r the arrows


also what research does

You put everything into the description... except "what to do?"...

I see that the game is good but there are a bunch of collectibles and none of them seems like they are doing something :P

Some explanation would be nice!

I didn't manage to getting the game work , 1 player , stuck at first level.
